Elysée Scientific Cosmetics Turns 92

Elysée Scientific Cosmetics has celebrated its 92nd anniversary and the 40th year of its Wisconsin headquarters.

For the last 14 years the company's skincare line has been featured on the Home Shopping Network.

The company was founded by Elizabeth "Elysée" Blumenthal in 1923 with the launch of a hand cream.

Blumenthal was sent to work with medical doctors in the Pacific during World War II to help solve the skincare problems of U.S. troops stationed overseas.

Owner and CEO Linda Marshall continues to run the company with her family.
