Symrise Appoints Cosmetic Ingredients Sales Director for Russia

Symrise has appointed Anton Matsik to the role of sales director for its cosmetic ingredients division.

The move furthers the company’s goal of providing individual technical and commercial support to the growing Russian market, as well as its neighboring countries.

Matsik has been responsible for the sales and marketing activities for cosmetic ingredients in the CIS region since the beginning of 2019; he is tasked with further developing and implementing creative and innovative strategies to meet regional sales and marketing requirements.

For more than five years Matsik, who has a background in chemical engineering, served as a representative for personal care/sun care and biotechnologies as a sales and marketing manager for Croda in Russia.

“Anton Matsik has gained a lot of experience in recent years, especially in the field of marketing specialty chemicals and their technical applications,” said Daniel Ibarra, Ph.D., vice president cosmetic ingredients EAME. “He will help us to achieve our ambitious goals in the region and fulfill the wishes of our customers.
