Polyvore noted that nude lipstick, powered by icon Kylie Jenner, grew in search frequency online by 553%. Nude lipstick led in 28 U.S. states and 12 countries. Matte lipstick searches rose 267%.

At the same time, established brands tended to beat out emerging brands in terms of top searches.

Leading product searches included Nars’ Orgasm Blush and Urban Decay’s Naked Palette.
