The Fragrance Foundation has begun the nomination process for the annual FiFi Awards. The 2011 awards include many changes to the nomination and balloting processes; details and entry forms are available at www.fragrance.org. The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011.
Voting will be done online for the categories of Fragrance of the Year, Best Packaging of the Year, Media Campaign of the Year, Bath & Body Line of the Year, Interior Scent Collection of the Year, and Fragrance Hall of Fame. The Fragrance Hall of Fame category will only appear on the second e-ballot. New awards include Fragrance Superstar of the Year, which recognized the very best fragrance, regardless of gender or distribution channel, and attendees as the FiFi Finalists Breakfast will vote on site from the top 10 in each category for this award. A second new award is the People’s Choice Award, where consumers can vote via social networks, media sites and so on.
