2016 Holiday Sales for Prestige Fragrance Outperforming Those of 2015

With the 2016 holiday shopping season well under way, the results of overall performance and sales are starting to roll in. It was recently reported that prestige fragrance sales for the 2016 holiday season were down, however according to a new NPD Group weekly report this year’s sales are outperforming 2015 dollar sales.

The report states, “Toys and prestige fragrances beat their week 4 2015 dollar sales results by 3 percent-the only industries to outperform last year for the week and cumulatively over the first four weeks of the season.”
