EXT Life Sciences, Inc.—a biotechnology start-up company spun off from Wayne State University and which develops proprietary, targeted antioxidant treatments formulated to slow the aging process—announced the development of a treatment that, according to a press release, stops hair from graying as it ages.
EXT founder Stanley R. Terlecky, PhD, a pharmacology professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine, says EXT's discovery and research on targeted antioxidants present a platform for antiaging products of the future—including shampoos that keep hair from turning gray and creams that keep skin smooth by counteracting the natural oxidant damage that occurs with the aging process.
