Commenting on Givaudan's launch, Shan Godbille, head of strategic and operational marketing for the company, shared, "It was a combination of factors that led us to unveil the bio-based illuminating active here in Shanghai. For one, the China beauty market possesses tremendous potential — in particular for this type of claims, and is one of great importance to our company. But more importantly, our consumer marketing Insights (CMI) team ran consumer studies and confirmed this ingredient’s high level of relevance for this region."

In addition, Sethic Innovations commemorated the 60th year of diplomatic relations between France and China by unveiling a portion of the original Eiffel Tower in the company's booth. The company's major ingredient focus for PCHi is its Super Metabiotics to enhance the skin microbiome.

"We think PCHi is the ultimate destination for sourcing raw ingredients as it offers a great variety of options," said Lida Castillo, R&D and production manager at Altum Cosmetics Manufacturing, Inc. "Some of the raw ingredients we use in our products can only be sourced here, and we are looking forward to exploring more of the show over the next two days."

More than 50 new products in total will be presented across various show feature areas, such as the New Product Showcase and Beauté Gourmet, at this year’s show.
