New Consulting Business Aims to Bring Beauty to New Markets

Kathy Connolly, a 30-year veteran of the beauty industry, recently launched her business KCC Consulting, designed to help guide beauty brands in today’s modern age. KCC Consulting and Connolly provide turn-key operations in a day when companies want to expand but also to cut their costs at the same time. The company everything from sales and marketing to public relations, advertising, sales training, warehousing and logistics, as well as deal making, which has been a specialty of Connolly’s for years. She earned her stripes in sales and marketing at major brands such as Erno Laszlo, Lancôme, Cosmar, LVMH, Guerlain and Swarovski.

Connolly has brought emerging names of beauty such as Orla Kiely, Clayspray, Lee Stafford to the U.S., market, as well as bringing U.S. brands to new European and other international markets. Connolly feels emerging brands are as important as the bigger names. As she puts it, “People are always looking for the new and fresh companies and their beauty offerings. And we can really help them in a positive way by giving them a menu of services they really need to launch effectively in a country as big as the U.S.”

Connolly deals in both the mass market arena, as well as the higher-end department and specialty store world of beauty. Both are necessary and there are brands that are made for each. The company works with chain, specialty, prestige drug and independent retailers.

KCC Consulting has offices in both London and New York and has a full time staff of eight.
