ICMAD Announces Young Designer Winners

The Independent Cosmetic Manufacturers & Distributors (ICMAD) announced the winners of the annual Young Designers Competition, which will take place at Twenty Four Fifth in New York on October 10, 2012. Created in 1999, the competition showcases the talents of students studying package design, and the goal is to encourage and develop future creative talent in the beauty industry.
The 2012 ICMAD Young Designers Award Winners are:
- Tara Meyer, design student from Miami International University of Art/Design
- Samantha Galvez, design student from Miami International University of Art/Design
- And Mat Zonona, design student from Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) of Los Angeles
"The beauty industry is always evolving and design is a big factor in a brand's success. These talented students participating in the ICMAD Young Designers Competition have the vision and creativity that will fuel many bright futures ahead," said Pam Busiek, president and CEO of ICMAD.
