Madison Reed has announced the creation of a new role within the company, vice president, technical design and education, and has appointed David Stanko to the position.
Stanko joins Madison Reed after more than 21 years with Redken 5th Avenue NYC, where he was master colorist and brand ambassador.
His new role's responsibilities will include working with the company's manufacturers and suppliers and training Madison Reed's Color Crew. Stanko will be relocating to San Francisco.
He said of his new position at Madison Reed, "The deep relationship between colorists and their clients is based on trust, communication and education. You can have the best products in the world, but for the customer to have success, she has to learn about the product. Education is in my DNA, and I can't wait to bring my experience to Madison Reed."
