H2O+ plans to relocate to San Francisco, effectively closing its manufacturing plant in the West Loop of Chicago. The move is being made to freshen up the company's image. After operating as the headquarters for over 20 years, the closing will affect around 75 Chicago employees.

Along with shifting its business focus away from manufacturing and more towards marketing and sales of the existing products, San Francisco will give H2O+ better access to business markets in Asia.
