SC Johnson Launches Beauty Resource Site

Skintimate, an SC Johnson women's shave gel brand, teamed with Whitney Port, television personality and fashion designer, to launch the microsite, which serves as a resource for everyday beauty and shaving advice. The site showcases Port's personal beauty advice for teen girls and first-time shavers as well as beauty and shaving tips from Skintimate.

A recent survey conducted by Skintimate and Ipsos, among girls ages 13-17, revealed that beauty and shaving plays an integral part of a teen girl's life:

  • 54% of teens start to shave between 12-13 years old
  • 24% of teen girls have between 10-15 products in their vanity
  • 84% of teen girls usually turn to their moms for guidance when it's time to start shaving
