Laurice Rahmé, founder of Bond No. 9 Fragrances, has launched Bryant Park. The newest of Rahmé’s 28 New York-inspired fragrances, the eponymously named Bryant Park is a rose-patchouli and pink pepper blend inspired by the diverse and paradoxical park in the heart of midtown Manhattan. With its shrubbery, carousel, winter skating rink and formidable Beaux Arts library, the park has undergone a variety of renewals and renovations, and has most recently been home to Fashion Week.
The latest fragrance was created by Michel Almairac, of Robertet, and has top notes of lily of the valley, rhubarb, pink pepper and middle notes of rose and patchouli. Bottom notes include raspberry and amber. The bottle is immediately recognizable as a paean to the fashion designs of Pucci—with its swirls of pink, lavender, white and black. The fragrance is available in a 3.4 oz artist-designed superstar bottle and box, as a 1.7 oz travel size and in a 2 oz basic spray flacon with gilt honeycomb cap or vintage art bottles in a variety of designs.
