Registration Open for HBA Global Expo and Fragrance Business
Posted: June 17, 2008In conjunction with the open online registration for the 2008 HBA Global Expo (see below), GCI magazine has announced open registration for its 2nd Annual Fragrance Business Conference and Pavilion, a one-of-a-kind conference, awards luncheon and networking pavilion designed for marketers and brand managers of fragranced products and held within the HBA Global Expo from Sept. 9, 10 and 11, 2008, at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City.
Fragrance Business spans the full array of fragranced products, including bath and body, candles, home fragrance, fine fragrance, aromatherapy and hair care, with a pavilion set up to showcase brands and suppliers. The Fragrance Business conference—held on Wednesday, September 10, and Thursday, September 11—will present leaders from throughout the fragrance industry. Hear their innovative strategies for business growth and product ideas. A networking reception follows the Wednesday conference with opportunities to meet the speakers and the Fragrance Business Advisory Board.
Online registration is also now open for the HBA Global Expo & Educational Conference (www.hbaexpo.com), taking place September 9, 10 and 11, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. The event is the largest product development forum for the cosmetics, fragrance, personal care and well-being industries and will feature more than 600 exhibitors, 55 conference sessions and educational programs, 200 industry expert speakers and global representation from more than 40 countries. Attendees will be able to source hundreds of new products, discover new beauty and personal care advances, see cutting-edge packaging designs and participate in key discussions about the latest trends affecting the industry.
Kicking off HBA Global Expo will be a keynote address by Dr. Nicholas Perricone, who will provide his unique vision for antiaging, skin care and well-being on Tuesday, September 9 at 9 AM in the Special Events Hall. The HBA Global Expo educational program will provide the latest information, research and expert advice on business development strategies, brand enhancements, package design, skin care and hair care advancements, as well as high performance ingredients and technical solutions. Top of mind at the year’s HBA will be the latest developments in naturals and organics. With high consumer demand for products with safe ingredients, sustainable and renewable materials, and well-being benefits, HBA Global Expo will focus on this growing sector of the industry.
Other educational highlights include two new workshops on the fundamentals of Skin Absorption and REACH. In addition the 3rd Annual International Safety, Regulatory and Certification Summit will take place offering a full-day, multifaceted program featuring a unique cadre of world leaders providing insight into the impact of emerging global regulations in the cosmetic and personal care industry. This year’s summit will focus on the beauty-from-the-inside approach relative to labeling and will provide an understanding of certified organic regulations. Complementing the educational agenda is an exhibit floor showcasing a full spectrum of products and services, including: private label, contract manufacturing, prestige and mass market packaging components, delivery systems, design houses, raw material and ingredient suppliers—including natural and organic, analytical and testing devices, biotechnology processes, nutraceuticals, cosmeceuticals, nutricosmetics and senso-cosmetics.
