Olay Comes Out on Top in Good Housekeeping Study

Olay just received a major stamp of approval from Good Housekeeping. 

According to the Good Housekeeping Institute’s Beauty Lab, Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream was the subject of a clinical and blinded consumer study that sought to find out if the $25 product could stand up against creams in the prestige market.

The answer? Yes.

Scientists at the Good Housekeeping Institute collected more than 10,000 hydration measurements and found:

  • At the three-hour mark, Olay moisturized 400% better than a cream nearly 18 times its price and beat all other products tested
  • Olay increased moisture by 50% on average over a 24 hour period
  • When blindfolded, consumers preferred Olay 80% of the time over the expensive creams, stating it felt “rich” but not heavy
  • Olay improved skin’s texture by 10% in four weeks––based on a 4-week clinical study by the Good Housekeeping institute in February 2016

Stephanie Robertson, brand director at Olay, was quoted saying, “Women are frustrated with spending too much money at department and specialty stores on skin care products that aren’t working.
