Following increased international demand, cosmetics and skin care companies around the UAE are continuing to focus on expanding into international markets like Africa and Central Asia.

Consumers in the UAE spent around $1.64 billion on beauty products in 2015, and sales are forecast to reach around $2.7 billion by 2020, according to figures from Euromonitor presented by BeautyWorld Middle East. Further, the Middle East and Africa are both some of the world's fastest-growing beauty and personal care markets, valued at around $25.4 billion. Over the next five years, those markets are expected to grow by 6.4% annually.

Companies like Nazih Group and Sawaya International are looking for foreign distributors to expand internationally, as well as boosting marketing efforts to attract more customers.
