New Skin Care Analyst at Mintel

Mintel Group announced the appointment of Chris Lindsley as a new global skin care analyst. Lindsley makes a strategic addition to Mintel’s beauty and personal care team, and in his new role, he will be sharing responsibility for supporting Mintel’s premium service for the beauty industry, providing timely, accurate and relevant research, predictive analysis and critical recommendations.

Lindsley joins Mintel after a successful career with Procter & Gamble, where he was R&D project manager for Olay Regenerist boutique EMEA, gaining extensive experience in designing, analyzing and presenting qualitative and quantitative research, project management and identifying consumer trends within the skin care industry.

Vivienne Rudd, director of global insight, beauty and personal care, Mintel, said, “Chris brings a proven track record of success and a comprehensive understanding of the skin care and wider beauty sector. We are confident that Chris will be a strong asset to Mintel’s beauty and personal care team, helping us to deliver the best in class analysis to our clients, identifying and anticipating trends and furthering our acknowledged expertise in skin care.”

Previously, Lindsley also served as senior researcher in the fabric and home care sector for P&G, being responsible for technical test method development to communicate and engage consumers with products, brand development and research strategies. Moreover, his experience across Western Europe has equipped him with a solid understanding of consumer behavior, trends and innovation, all backed up by a great passion for the world of skin care.

Lindsley will be located in Mintel’s headquarters in London, covering issues within the global skin care market.
