SK-II Skin Care Pop Up Studios to Appear in NYC, SF for Spring 2014

In the spring of 2014, SK-II, P&G Prestige's luxury skin care line, is opening Pop Up Studios in New York and San Francisco for a limited time, April 4 through May 23. The brand aims to raise awareness among consumers of its new, state-of-the-art skin analysis tool, the Beauty Imaging System.

At the SK-II Pop Up Studios, consumers will discover their skin's potential to achieve a radiant complexion through one-on-one personalized consultations with expert skin counselors using the new imaging technology. The Beauty Imaging System a unique analysis device that predicts the skin's visible age to help determine a SK-II product ritual designed exclusively for an individual's skin concerns. It works by capturing close-up images of the face using a digital camera and then analyzes the images based on the five dimensions of beautiful skin: texture refinement, firmness, wrinkle resilience, radiance and tone. Used over time, SK-II users can track their improvement and how their skin fares with age.

The SK-II Pop Up Studios also will showcase the brand's rich history and “secret” ingredient found in all of the products, Pitera, an exclusive extract from a unique strain of yeast, produced only in Japan. And SK-II skin counselors will be on hand at the interactive studio locations to provide consumers with information on the brand and products, complimentary Beauty Imaging System skin consultations, interactive product testing and takeaway SK-II products samples.
