BASF and Givaudan Develop First OECD-Approved Animal Test Alternatives
The OECD has, for the first time, approved a non-animal strategy to assess skin sensitization based on three tests. In addition, the Kinetic Direct Peptide Reactivity Assay was approved to predict the intensity of reactions. All tests are the results of BASF/Givaudan joint efforts.
