Each based on a single INCI name, Micro Powders, Inc.'s spring launches provide sustainable, natural benefits to personal care—including a biodegradable microplastic alternative for both exfoliation and aesthetic benefits.

Naturebead Cocoa C20 (INCI: Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax) is spherically shaped and based on carnauba wax—as opposed to microplastic—in order to provide gentle exfoliation. Meanwhile, Naturescrub Cocoa C50 (INCI: Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax) is similar to its smooth counterpart, but is irregularly shaped for a more aggressive effect, according to the supplier.

Micro Powders also launched Naturesoft 860R (INCI: Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Wax), a biodegradable, ultrafine white powder that provides dry binding with mattifying and oil-binding properties.

The ingredients launched at NYSCC Suppliers' Day, held in New York May 7-8, 2019.
