Berlin Packaging has acquired Verrerie Calvet, a packaging supplier located in Aimargues, France.
Verrerie Calvet specializes in packaging for wine, spirits, olive oil and as well as gourmet seasonings, marinades and sauces. Products include glass bottles and jars as well as a variety of metal containers, closures and specialty boxes and bag for transporting and shipping wine and oil. It also offers glass customization and decoration, including in-house screen printing.
The company will be integrated into Berlin’s Bruni Glass organization, and run in partnership with the French Bruni Glass team. The acquisition will make all of Verrerie Calvet’s product lines available to customers of Berlin Packaging, Bruni Glass and Bruni Erben; Verrerie Calvet will gain access to products and services from Berlin and Bruni.
The Calvet brothers will remain with the company, as will all Verrerie Calvet employees.

The acquisition, slated to close in the coming weeks, will mark Verrerie Calvet’s third in Europe since 2016 and ninth overall since 2010.
