Shell NEODOL alcohols are classified as “readily biodegradable” per OECD guidelines and environmentally preferred. The lightly branched, essentially linear structure delivers performance comparable to oleo alcohols and can improve handling properties and compatibility. Produced via proprietary hydroformylation, Shell NEODOL grades are ideal for cleansing agents, solubilizers, stabilizers, and emollients.
