Minasolve Launches Ingredient to Meet Green Demands

With consumers’ appeal for natural products growing, French cosmetic ingredient supplier, Minasolve has introduced MinaCare Pentiol Green+.

As an odorless, colorless and water soluble, the ingredient is a corn cob, sugar cane bagasse based version of pentylene glycol.

This ingredient moisturizes skin and fights yeasts, molds and bacteria. Additionally, it serves as a water soluble as green solvents are significant in reducing carbon in the personal care market.

The ingredient was granted EcoCert and Cosmos certification in the EU and received the Green Ingredient Silver Award at In Cosmetics in 2014.
