The 2022 #SephoraSquad, composed of 70 inspiring artists, storytellers and beauty enthusiasts, has been announced.
This is the program’s fourth year and it received 40% more applications than last year. Seventy applicants were chosen out of 10,000, 78% of whom are BIPOC creators.
The team at Sephora set out to celebrate diverse voices in beauty with the creation of the #SephoraSquad. It was designed to amplify and mentor all Sephora employees and beauty lovers alike, through a yearlong, paid-partnership to work on a variety of campaigns and marketing initiatives.
Squad members will receive peer and professional coaching, opportunity to grow their following, networking with industry leaders and brands and involvement in Sephora campaigns.
On average, the #SephoraSquad's Tik Tok follower count increased 53% during the 2021 program.
The 2022 gender diversity breakdown of the #SephoraSquad is 86% females, 11% males and 3% non-binary members.
