Fair will oversee a portfolio of leading brands, including L’Oréal Paris, Maybelline New York, Garnier, Essie, and NYX Professional Makeup. She succeeds Nathalie Gerschtein, who is stepping away from L’Oréal Groupe to pursue new professional endeavors.
Fair brings significant expertise to her new role, building on her strong track record within the organization. Since 2020, she has served as President of L'Oréal Dermatological Beauty (LDB) for the North America Zone, managing key brands such as CeraVe, La Roche-Posay, SkinCeuticals, Skinbetter Science, and Vichy. Under her leadership, LDB became L'Oréal's third-largest U.S. division, accelerating sales growth and market share. The division's products also achieved top rankings in recommendations by dermatologists, pediatricians, and pharmacists.
Fair’s tenure at L’Oréal started in 2008, with leadership positions within the U.S. Consumer Products Division. She held senior marketing roles with Garnier and Maybelline New York, later taking on global marketing responsibilities for SkinCeuticals. By 2015, she was named US General Manager for SkinCeuticals, where she drove the brand’s substantial growth and solidified its leadership in professional skin care.
Greenberg says, "I’m thrilled that Tina will now be taking the helm of our Consumer Products Division and our extraordinary portfolio of Consumer Division beauty brands, including L’Oréal Paris, Maybelline New York, Garnier, Essie, and NYX Professional Makeup. I have seen Tina step change every business she has run as we have witnessed with the Dermatological Beauty Division under Tina’s leadership. Her strategic vision, bold decision-making, and entrepreneurial mindset position her and the Division for continued success.”
Michael Bowes Appointed Chief People Officer at Estée Lauder
The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. has named Michael Bowes as executive vice president and chief people officer, effective April 1, 2025. Reporting directly to president and CEO Stéphane de La Faverie, Bowes will lead all areas of Global Human Resources, including talent management, career development, and organizational design, in this newly created role. This appointment underscores Estée Lauder’s commitment to fostering innovation and building a strong, inclusive company culture.
Bowes joined Estée Lauder in 2015 and has been instrumental in initiatives such as the internal talent marketplace, employee listening surveys, and leadership development programs. His work has emphasized inclusivity and personal growth, with sponsorship of initiatives like From Every Chair and Leading with High Touch. Bowes has also advanced mentorship and talent development across the company.

He will transition into his new role as current chief human resources officer Michael O’Hare retires in April 2025. Over the coming months, Bowes will work closely with O’Hare to ensure a seamless leadership transition.
La Faverie expresses confidence in Bowes’ leadership, stating, “Michael is a dynamic leader with a deep passion for people and culture. His strategic vision and dedication to talent development will shape the future of our workforce, creating an environment where employees can thrive and grow.”
