To commemorate the milestone, the company inaugurated an upgraded Technical Center of Excellence in Shanghai, reinforcing its commitment to the Chinese market and the broader Asia region.

According to the company, over the past two decades, China has emerged as a global leader in pharmaceuticals and personal care, driving innovation and setting trends. As the world’s largest beauty market and a hub for pharmaceutical R&D, the country reportedly aligns closely with Gattefossé’s focus on natural, high-performance ingredients and advanced drug delivery systems.

Upgraded Shanghai Facility
The expanded Shanghai Technical Center now includes advanced laboratories for personal care and pharmaceuticals, a sensory analysis room, and clinical testing capabilities. Serving as a regional hub, it supports customers across Asia with tailored formulations and technical training.

Focus on Local Collaboration
Gattefossé will continue to invest in partnerships with Chinese universities and institutions, including China Pharmaceutical University and the Shanghai Institute of Technology. By adapting to local needs and exploring synergies between modern science and Traditional Chinese Medicine, the company aims to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions for the region.
