Veritiv Corporation has launched Earth Pact, a paperboard-based packaging option made with 100% sugarcane bagasse fibers.
Veritiv states that these fibers are "an annually renewable, tree-free fiber source that is both recyclable and compostable."
The Earth Pact line of products is meant to help brands, such as Biossance (pictured above), "create new and sustainable package designs that stand out on the shelf, minimize dimensional weight and give customers an exceptional out-of-the-box experience," according to Veritiv.
