Genomatica has named Glenn LLC, an Azelis Americas company, as the exclusive U.S. distributor of Genomatica’s Brontide, a natural, petroleum-free butylene glycol. The multifunctional ingredient is designed for the creation of natural and sustainable beauty products, including moisturizers, shampoos, body washes, creams and more. In formulations, the material can be used for moisture retention, improved texture, antimicrobial properties and as a solubilizer for plant extracts, flavor and fragrances.
