Solabia Group has launched ViscoPure, a natural aqueous thickener developed by French polymer specialist PolymerExpert. Designed for high-efficiency thickening, ViscoPure combines modified glucomanane and xanthan gum in a 3D network that delivers up to 20× the thickening power of standard xanthan gum at 0.1%, allowing low-use formulations while maintaining stability.
The ingredient provides broad pH tolerance, electrolyte resilience, emulsion stabilization and effective suspension of pigments and particles, per the supplier, making it suitable for a wide range of products including serums, gels, emulsions and gel patches. It works in both cold and hot processing, giving formulators flexibility from concept to scale-up.
ViscoPure also improves texture and sensory properties, producing smooth, non-stringy and transparent gels that meet current minimalist aesthetic trends. As a 100% natural-origin ingredient (ISO 16128) manufactured through environmentally responsible processes, it offers a natural alternative to synthetic thickeners without compromising performance.
