During Beauty Accelerate Virtual, leaders from well-beauty brands will assemble to discuss their missions and the array of consumer needs their products deliver to consumers during this unprecedented time.

More about our experts:

  • Stephanie Morimoto is Owner & CEO of Asutra, which offers 50+ skin care, body scrubs and salts, aromatherapy, and pain relief. Asutra provides career-pathway jobs at a living wage with benefits; 77% of its team are people of color; 100% of its staff would recommend Asutra as a great place to work.
  • Beatrice Dixon, founder of The Honey Pot Company, was a recipient of the Sundial/Unilever New Voices fund and is one of the first 40 women of color to raise $1 million in venture capital. She has been featured by the Today Show, New York Times, Essence, Forbes and more.
  • Éva Goicochea spent 10+ years working with Squarespace, adidas and on the early team at Everlane. She launched maude, a modern intimacy company, in 2018, which has since been featured in 400+ publications. To-date, she’s one of only 60 Latinx women to raise more than $2 million in VC funding.
  • Michael Bumgarner is the Founder of Cannuka, the first CBD skin care line to launch nationally in UltaBeauty, making it the largest CBD beauty launch in history at roughly 1200 doors. Bumgarner believes that redefining and de-stigmatizing the word cannabis will improve people’s health, the environment and provide sustainable job opportunities throughout the vertical.
