Walmart Enters Ingestible Beauty—With the Help of a Beauty Superstar

Bobbi Brown has joined forces with Walmart to bring ingestible beauty to the masses.

The makeup artist-turned-entrepreneur’s Evolution_18 range will be available at 1,5000 Walmart locations and on Walmart.com, reports Well and Good. Consisting of 10 products to launch, prices range from $10-$20. “The price point hasn’t really happened in our world,” Brown told the publication. “And they all taste good and have clean ingredients.”

The line includes:

  • Beauty Bubbles—Effervescent tablets to be dropped in water
  • Beauty Glow—Featuring collagen and hyaluronic acid
  • Beauty Superfood—A nutrient-dense powder with collagen, for mixing
  • Beauty Debloat Tea
  • Beauty Probiotic—A powder that melts on the tongue
  • Beauty Gummy—With biotin vitamin
  • Beauty Grow—Biotin supplements for the hair
  • Beauty Collagen Powder—Grass-fed collagen peptides

“We’re excited, because this is bringing accessible inner beauty to America, so 1,500 stores across the country will have it,” said Jody Pinson, vice president of merchandising, beauty at Walmart. “It just started hitting our stores and so far the response has just been unexpected. Our customers are looking for simple ingredients so they can understand what they’re putting on and inside their bodies, so we think [Evolution_18] will bring it to people that just want to be healthier.”

“This is really a new category, and it’s really beauty-inspired,” added Brown. “A lot of people don’t realize that if you don’t feel good, you don’t look good—so this is a great way of promoting that. This is a ginormous platform that’ll be able to reach so many people.”
