Avon Products, Inc. announced the appointment of James S. Scully as executive vice president and chief financial officer. He will report to CEO Sheri McCoy and lead all finance and information technology functions.
Scully joins Avon after nine years with J. Crew. During his tenure there, Scully served as executive vice president and CFO, chief administrative officer and COO, spearheading the company's international expansion efforts. Prior to J. Crew, he served in treasury and strategic and financial planning roles at Saks Incorporated and in corporate finance and banking roles at Bank of America.

"His deep consumer expertise, track record of working in complex environments and experience developing opportunities in international markets make him the ideal fit. He is a seasoned finance and operational leader with public company CFO experience, and will play an integral role in driving sustainable and profitable growth at Avon."
