Toward its goal of producing informative and comprehensive educational conferences for its attendees, Cosmoprof North America, in 2011, is offering conference topics ranging from creating a brand that resonates with consumers to capitalizing on that connection. Jeff Falk, editor, GCI, will moderate Creativity and Passion: Fueling the Brand Story, featuring a panel of industry experts who will examine how to create a successful beauty business. This session will take place on Sunday, July 31, from 3:30–5 PM.
The industry executives, all of whom are responsible for establishing or managing successful brands in the mass, masstige and specialty sectors, will talk about the creativity and passion required to build and sustain a brand. They will share their perspectives, gained from years of experience, on how to create relatable brands and how to grow and position those brands so that they become standards on the marketplace. These leaders will discuss the needs and wants of today’s consumers, how brands should look to communicate with those consumers, and the business strategies necessary to keep consumers buying. There will also be a question and answer session giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions specific to their own businesses.
The panel includes Andrew Knox of PIXI/POP Beauty (masstige), Ido Leffler of Yes To! (mass), and Deborah Lippman of Deborah Lippman Nail Collection (specialty).
