On May 4, 2026, IMCD Group announced the opening of its new Technical Center in Istanbul, Türkiye. The new center is designed as a strategic hub for formulation development, commercial product optimization, technical consultancy and customer support.
According to the company’s press release, the IMCD Türkiye Technical Center will consolidate the food and nutrition, beauty and personal care and coatings and construction laboratories into a single facility. The Beauty & Personal Care Laboratory is equipped for the development of colors, skin care, sunscreens, hair care and other personal care solutions. Further, the Beauty Studio offers an interactive experience for customers focused on ideation and co-creation with IMCD’s experts.
“The chemical industry in Türkiye is one of the sectors with growth potential with its geographical advantage and qualified workforce,” said Aylin Zakuto, managing director of IMCD Türkiye. “As an organization that has been serving Türkiye for 21 years, we have a strong presence and an expert team of more than 100 people who keep the pulse of the market to better support our many local customers.

The IMCD Türkiye Technical Center will also include a pharmaceuticals laboratory to strengthen the company’s technical and innovation capabilities.
