Global natural and wellness ingredient supplier BGG World (BGG) announced on June 30, 2022 that it has obtained the digital codes for all its cosmetic ingredients to support its customers in complying with the new Cosmetics Supervision and Administration Regulations (CSAR) in China.

According to the new regulations, quality and safety information of cosmetic ingredients and ingredient supplier information should be provided for registering cosmetic products in China. To simplify this registration procedure, cosmetic ingredients manufacturers can submit information regarding the ingredients they manufacture and obtain a code for registration and filing of cosmetic products in China.

Christian Artaria, CEO of BGG Europe SA and Global CMO of BGG Group, stated:  “We filed all our ingredients so that our customers will not have to collect all the information for the actives they are sourcing from us, but just make reference to our dossier.”

The list of products filed includes BGG’s dipotassium glycyrrhizinate, 18-β-glycyrrhetinic acid (enoxolone), glabridin, mono ammonium glycyrrhizinate, licochalcone A, Astazine (INCI: Astaxanthin) and the rice-derived TheraPrimE (INCI: Tocotrienols).
