Sun Chemical Expands Natural Colorants for Cosmetics and Personal Care

Sun Chemical has expanded its portfolio to include six natural colorants for cosmetics and personal care into its SunPuro line. 

The ingredients offered include SunPuro Natural Annatto O (INCI: Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil (and) Annatto) and SunPuro Natural Annatto A (INCI: Water (Aqua) (and) Annatto (and) Potassium Hydroxide), approved for color cosmetics and personal care.

Also offered are two SunPuro Natural Chlorophyll green colorants: SunPuro Natural Chlorophyll P (INCI: Maltodextrin (and) Chlorophyllin-Copper Complex) and SunPuro Natural Chlorophyll A (INCI: Water (Aqua) (and) Chlorophyllin-Copper Complex (and) Propylene Glycol (and) Potassium Hydroxide), approved for use in oral care.

The plant-based ingredients SunPuro Natural Vegetable Black (INCI: Not Provided), made from upcycled coconut shell waste and offering non-nano detoxifying properties, and SunPuro Natural Coconut (INCI: Not Provided), providing opacifying effects for use in aqueous personal care formulations, support natural claims in cosmetics and personal care formulas, according to Sun Chemical.
