Based in Bogotá, Colombia, Amfora also operates in Peru and specializes in plastic packaging for fragrance, cosmetics, personal care and pharma products.

This acquisition will strengthen Albéa’s presence in Latin America, one of the fastest-growing markets for beauty and personal care, per the company. 

Amfora Packaging was founded in 2015 by ACON, combining two companies: Intecplast in Colombia and Pieriplast in Peru. With this move, Albéa aims to expand its offerings in color cosmetics, skin care, personal care and fragrance.
