SILAB Inc., SILAB’s US subsidiary, has relocated to East Brunswick, New Jersey.

The move aims to support the company’s overall development in the United States. The new facility is larger (approximately 400 square meters), located near universities including Rutgers and Princeton, and provides easy access due to its proximity to roads and airports. It will house a team of around 12, slated to expand over the next five years.

Consolidating its presence in the region will help the company provide better support for collaborative projects with U.S.-based clients. The French company has an established presence in the United States on both the east (New Jersey) and west (California) coasts.

“The North American market is currently shaped by two dynamics, firstly the historical presence of international groups and brands and secondly, the development of  contract manufacturing organizations with clients that have short distribution channels,” said Jean-Philippe Cosson, sales and marketing director. “These new organizations meet the demand for immediacy from consumers and are gradually revolutionizing our development models. Faced with this highly dynamic market in constant search of innovation, we are equipping ourselves with the logistics, human and digital resources in order to help these organizations offer sales and marketing solutions that meet the highly popular criteria of uniqueness & frenzy, as well as naturality.”
