BASF expands its UV filter production capacities through debottlenecking.
BASF has expanded production of UV filters in response to global market and customer growth, particularly among octocrylene-free products for the European market.
BASF has engaged in debottlenecking at the several sites. The supply chains of Tinosorb S (UVA and UVB protection for high-SPF sunscreens), Uvinul A Plus (for UVA radiation protection) and Uvinul T150 (for UVB filtering) will reportedly be boosted.
