Cosmetic Group USA, a full-service beauty product development and contract manufacturing partner, has been acquired by PharmaResearch, a global pharmaceutical and biotechnology company focused on regenerative science, aesthetic solutions and skin care innovation.

The acquisition brings together Cosmetic Group USA’s more than three decades of experience in U.S. beauty product development and manufacturing with PharmaResearch’s biotechnology, research capabilities and international resources. The companies said the combination is intended to accelerate innovation, expand manufacturing and scientific capabilities, and create new opportunities for beauty brands while maintaining Cosmetic Group USA’s existing customer relationships and personalized service.

PharmaResearch is known internationally for Rejuran, its flagship PN-based skin booster, and Rejuran Cosmetics, a skin care brand built on the company’s research heritage and proprietary technologies.

For Cosmetic Group USA, the transaction expands its capabilities across skin care, color cosmetics, personal care and hybrid beauty products. The company works with both emerging and established brands from concept through commercialization, providing product development, technical expertise and contract manufacturing.

“We are combining our entrepreneurial spirit and customer-first culture with the global scientific expertise and resources of PharmaResearch," said Andrea Chuchvara, who has led Cosmetic Group USA for the last 14 years. "Together, we're leveling up every client experience, creating even greater opportunities for them to innovate, grow, and lead the next generation of beauty."

The acquisition is also expected to connect U.S. beauty-market expertise with PharmaResearch’s research and biotechnology platform. PharmaResearch CEO Daniel Choi, who also serves as CEO of CG USA and Rejuran USA, said the combination will provide a foundation for future product and technology development.

“People and passion are the principles that drive PharmaResearch,” said Daniel Choi, CEO of CG USA and Rejuran USA. “By combining our biotechnology and research capabilities with Cosmetic Group USA’s passion for innovation and deep understanding of the US beauty market, we aim to create a strong platform for future innovation and growth.”

The companies characterized the deal under the theme “People + Passion. Powered by Global Innovation,” emphasizing the combination of Cosmetic Group USA’s entrepreneurial and customer-focused approach with PharmaResearch’s global scientific resources.

Cosmetic Group USA’s portfolio spans skin care, color cosmetics, personal care and hybrid beauty products, with services covering product concept, development and commercialization. The company said the acquisition will allow it to build on its existing capabilities while giving clients access to broader scientific, manufacturing and international resources.

PharmaResearch, meanwhile, focuses on regenerative medicine, medical aesthetics, pharmaceuticals and consumer skin care. Its research platform has supported the development of products including Rejuran and Rejuran Cosmetics, extending its regenerative-science expertise into aesthetic and consumer applications.
