Natura Calls on Global Innovators to Eliminate Packaging Waste

In an effort to combat waste generation and plastic pollution, Natura has issued a global call for proposals to be considered for its Innovation Challenge Zero Waste Packaging. 

Natura has called upon entrepreneurs, startups, research institutions, universities and companies to present solutions for new renewable, soluble or biodegradable materials, as well as innovations in logistics, service or commercial models. 

The call is for solutions that have undergone a development stage, be it in applied research validation or scaling. Proposals will be assessed by the Natura team and selected solutions may be developed in the form of partnerships and/or investments to ensure feasibility. Feedback for submissions will be given by March 1, 2020. 

Natura currently offers perfumery, pouch, jar and tray refills. 

Enrollment will be open until November 30, 2019.
