Nivea manufacturer Beiesdorf opened its second largest research and innovation center in Shanghai, according to German magazine WirtschaftsWoche.

Beiesdorf reportedly invested 10 million euros in the center that will work closely with its global research development network in Brazil, India, Japan, Mexico and the U.S.
Beiesdorf's head of research, May Shana'a, said, "This significant investment in our research and development is a clear commitment to innovation and growth in the region."
