Mary Kay Names Wendy Wang as Chief Commercial Officer

Mary Kay has appointed Wendy Wang as chief commercial officer in the Asia Pacific region at the company’s global headquarters in Addison, Texas.

In this role, Wang will develop and drive the implementation of commercial strategies for the Asia Pacific region. Wang will also be tasked with collaborating with regional leadership to ensure corporate objectives and lead the regional team to support sales, marketing, business technology and operations in each Asia Pacific subsidiary. 

Wang has been with Mary Kay China since 2002 as counsel for the Asia Pacific region in the corporate legal department. Most recently, Wang served as vice president and associate general counsel for Mary Kay Inc. where she led the team of legal professionals responsible for handling all legal issues for Mary Kay’s Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America and North America regions. 

The appointment of Wang is the latest in Mary Kay's core value of global and regional workforce gender diversity. Females make up 61% of the global workforce, 59% of directors and above, 51% of global vice presidents and above, as well as 50% of global executive team. In the Asia Pacific region, females make up 57% of its workforce, 69% of regional positions and 100% of market leadership.
