After a successful debut at the 2012 show, Cosmoprof North America (July 14-16, 2013, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas) is bringing back Spotlights, an exclusive initiative within its Discover Beauty program. This department store-like presentation serves as a showcase for companies that are big on creativity yet smaller in size. Event organizers focus on bringing brands deemed to be candidates for high-end retail stores, boutiques, salons and spas.
The 2013 spotlights lineup:
Aphelia – The Origin of Beauty (Australia): Range of premium herbal skin care for both spas and retail. Aphelia developed “the principle superior regime” drawing upon the expertise of herbal synergies based on traditional Chinese medicine and Aphelia’s biotechnology process to deliver natural skin care that targets the signs of aging.
Balanced Guru (U.S): Brand focuses on wellness and how it translates to all aspects of beauty. The company’s promise is to offer only certified organic choices, formulated based on ancient Eastern wisdom and modern scientific research.
