The 56th edition of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, held in March 2025 at BolognaFiere, drew more than 255,000 beauty professionals from 150 countries and featured 3,128 companies from 65 nations. The event showcased more than 10,000 beauty brands. With a 4.5% increase in visitors compared to last year, this edition proved to be a milestone for the beauty sector.

The exhibition spanned 29 country pavilions and saw 78% of exhibitors coming from abroad, further highlighting its international appeal. The event also expanded its exhibition space by 5.8% to include new product categories, reflecting the industry’s rapid evolution. Key initiatives, such as the exclusive Buyer Program, connected professionals with over 1,000 job seekers and fostered meaningful business opportunities and networking.

According to Gianpiero Calzolari, president of BolognaFiere Cosmoprof, the event marked a significant moment for the beauty sector, which is projected to generate €612 billion globally by 2025. The Italian cosmetics industry also demonstrated strong growth, with exports rising by over 11.4% in 2024 and contributing €8.4 billion to Italy’s economy, making it a strategic pillar of the "Made in Italy" brand.

Cosmoprof also emphasized sustainability and innovation, with attendees exploring eco-friendly products, personalized solutions, and cutting-edge technologies. As a platform for emerging trends, the exhibition provided valuable insights into the evolving habits of increasingly conscious consumers.

The next edition of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna is set for March 2026, promising new initiatives and innovations to further drive growth in the global beauty industry.
