Natural ingredient solution provider Mane Kancor was recognized at the ISC Sustainability Awards 2026 for its impactful and scalable sustainability initiatives in the global spice industry. The company was honored at the International Spice Conference 2026, held in Kochi, India from February 23-26.

The ISC Sustainability Awards honor organizations that go beyond intent to deliver “measurable, verified improvements in environmental and social performance.” This year marks the first edition of the awards, intended to spotlight initiatives that protect the planet and improve livelihoods.

Mane Kancor received second prize at the ISC Sustainability Awards 2026 and was recognized for its sustainability initiatives in mint. Through long-term farmer empowerment programs, the company works closely with over 6,000 mint farmers across 550 villages in India. Further, Mane Kancor collaborated with the Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CIMAP) to introduce the Early Mint Technology (EMT). This innovation has led to an approximate 30% reduction in irrigation and a 37% cut in greenhouse gas emissions.

“This recognition reflects Mane Kancor’s belief that sustainability must be practical, scalable and inclusive, delivering real benefits for farmers, communities and the environment, while shaping a future-ready spice ecosystem,” the company stated in a press release.
