Singapore has been named as the location for Amorepacific Group’s new research and innovation laboratory.
The new lab will be located within a bioscience park and will be managed by the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), a government agency in Singapore.
What this means for the company
- The new location gives Amorepacific the ability enhance research on future technologies and Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) customers, including joint research with A*STAR.
- Amorepacific can then provide products for beauty customers in the ASEAN region, based on technology innovation and local research insights.
SimWook Youg, head of Amorepacific’s R&D management division, was quoted saying, “Amorepacific has bolstered its research base for the ASEAN region through cooperation with the world-class research organization, A*STAR. Combining Amorepacific’s superb research capability with local research insights, Amorepacific is gearing up to provide the most optimized solutions for beauty customers in the ASEAN region.”
