
Neopac has introduced the Polyfoil MMB Mini tubes at CPHI Milan. The tubes are available in downsized diameters of 13.5-16 mm. Neopac claims to have designed these tubes in an effort to expand its line of high-barrier mono-material solutions, and to continue making advancements in high-barrier packaging technology.

Neopac’s Polyfoil MMB Mini tubes provide an aluminum-free packaging solution for products requiring strong barrier properties, such as certain pharmaceutical, dental and ophthalmic formulations. The brand reports an excellent oxygen transmission rate (OTR) barrier and versatile product compatibility, which is claimed to ensure the integrity and shelf life of sensitive medications. Neopac says the Polyfoil MMB Mini tubes can be combined with HDPE closures.
