Mecca Opens Largest Beauty Store in the Southern Hemisphere

Mecca has opened the biggest beauty store in the Southern Hemisphere: its flagship store, located in the Gowings building in Australia.

The 1,800 square metres building contains multiple levels and houses beauty brands including Tom FordGoop and Kylie Skin, as well as on-the-floor service experiences.

More than a third of the store is dedicated to beauty services, including express and signature facials, a brow studio with services such as brow tints and lamination, a makeup studio, and EdwardsAndCo hair styling service.

The store is also equipped with a private space which showcases industry experts such as cosmetic treatments with Van Park M.D., piercing and soldered bracelets with Sarah and Sebastian and a limited-edition signature La Mer facial with a La Mer skin care expert throughout December 2020.

Mecca will also house a concierge services as a central point to offer help within the store, an event space and a virtual services hub where team members can respond directly to the online community, live from the flagship store.

The store has been decorated with with neon yellow elevators, mosaic walls, digital backdrops and three-dimensional brand installations.
