Wizard Wellness has raised more than $1 million in new funding as the beauty-inspired allergy care brand accelerates its push into mass retail. The financing comes from new investors Pave Health Ventures and Vanquish Equity, with existing backers True Beauty Ventures and Barrier Island Capital also participating. The investment coincides with Wizard Wellness completing a national rollout across Target, Walmart and CVS in just four weeks, bringing the brand to more than 4,000 retail doors nationwide.

The funding represents a new phase for Wizard Wellness, which was founded by former Procter & Gamble, L’Oréal and Estée Lauder executive Lorne Lucree around the premise that allergy and nasal care could borrow from the innovation playbook of skin care. Rather than positioning nasal care solely as reactive symptom treatment, the company has developed a drug-free system built around microbiome science, sensory appeal, daily-use formats and more consumer-friendly branding.

The company is raising capital at a point when its early consumer metrics are also accelerating. Wizard says its DTC subscription base has grown more than 17-fold since launch, while August 2026 was its largest DTC month to date. Average order value doubled across July and August, and the company's repeat-customer rate more than tripled over the past two months.

Those gains are being paired with an unusually rapid retail expansion. Wizard products are now available in approximately 1,000 Target stores, 1,700 Walmart stores and 1,400 CVS locations, as well as through each retailer's e-commerce platform. The brand also sells through Amazon, TikTok Shop and WizardWellness.com.

The investment thesis centers in part on the mismatch between the size of the allergy market and consumer satisfaction with existing products. Wizard cites NIQ data showing that approximately 40% of U.S. households deal with seasonal allergies, making allergies the country's most-reported household health concern. At the same time, only 7% of respondents in a 2025 Wizard Wellness survey of 596 U.S. consumers said they were satisfied with the products currently available to them.

That dissatisfaction is particularly relevant to Wizard's retail strategy. According to Numerator data cited by the company, 84% to 96% of allergy purchases occur in stores, depending on the retailer. The company therefore prioritized mass retail early rather than relying on an extended DTC-only growth phase. Its latest financing gives the company additional capital as it moves from proving the concept online to building awareness and repeat purchasing at national scale.

For Pave Health Ventures, the investment reflects an opportunity to bring a more consumer-oriented approach to an underdeveloped health category. Jacob Myers of Pave said the firm saw demand for products that combine clinical backing with a brand consumers can trust and connect with, pointing specifically to Wizard's ability to reach more than 4,000 doors in four weeks as evidence of early traction.

Vanquish Equity's investment similarly focuses on Wizard's go-to-market strategy. Founder and managing partner Frank Woodbridge said the firm was drawn not only to the products but to Lucree's approach to building the business around how consumers actually shop the category. Rather than following a conventional consumer-startup path, the company prioritized the physical retail channel where allergy purchases predominantly occur.

The strategy builds on the broader proposition Lucree outlined to Global Cosmetic Industry last month: if beauty consumers have embraced microbiome science, sensory formats and daily rituals for skin care, those expectations could extend to the nose. Wizard's portfolio includes probiotic nasal sprays, a nasal inhaler and oral strips, with Walmart also carrying a pre-mixed postbiotic sinus rinse. The company's proprietary Nasalbiome Technology combines pre- and probiotics with hydrators, antioxidants and biotech-derived ingredients.

With fresh capital behind it and national distribution now in place, Wizard's next challenge will be converting retail availability into a durable new consumer habit—and demonstrating that the beauty industry's emphasis on sensorial experience, microbiome health and daily-use rituals can translate beyond skin care and into nasal wellness.
